What's more, Enthuse is the official online fundraising partner for London Marathon Events and Great Run. It’s still early, but we’re on an incredible journey.


We’re looking for a Payments and Compliance Assistant in our Payments and Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-scaling, socially-driven organisation and provide best in class support to our internal and external customers.


As part of the Payments and Compliance team, you’ll be joining a growing team at a critical point in our journey.


How you’ll contribute


You'll be responsible for:


  • Dealing with all aspects of the transaction flow from donations to customer payouts.
  • Dealing with Customer Support tickets and emails relating to payments and compliance, including card and direct debit transactions and customer payouts.
  • Management and administration of the designated customer accounts including reconciliation to other reports as appropriate, posting of fees and investigation of differences.
  • Working with third party payment providers including escalating certain customer queries to our payment partners for additional investigation and chargeback administration and case management.
  • Onboarding and ongoing customer compliance tasks including:
    • Validating customers’ charity status and bank account details.
    • Due diligence - Know Your Customer (KYC) checks.
    • Assist with transaction monitoring, review, screening, queries and escalations.
    • Processing inbound Gift Aid letters and updating internal systems with correct data.
  • Any other duties as requested to support the broader team.

  • Analytical mindset and high degrees of confidence in working with numbers and calculations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Problem solving skills and an ability to consider improving processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • An independent self-starter but able to ask for help and support when needed.
  • A positive can do attitude.
  • A love for learning new skills.


We'd love it if:


  • You have worked in finance or administrative roles before.
  • Have had exposure to working in KYC, Fraud, Risk Management or Payments.
  • You thrive on working in a busy environment. 
  • You have other relevant training or experience.

  • A salary of up to £25k for the Payments and Compliance Assistant role.
