We’re delighted to announce an extension of our existing partnership with The Great Run Company as official online fundraising partner. The initial deal was scheduled to run from 2022 until 2024.
The new, long term agreement sees us continue our partnership for the full portfolio of AJ Bell Great Run events until 2027, this includes the world’s largest half marathon, the AJ Bell Great North Run.
Enthuse and Great Run so far
The Great Run Company and Enthuse have worked together to transform mass event fundraising since 2022, introducing co-branded fundraising pages that put charities centre stage, and help good causes to build a stronger relationship with their donors. Enthuse ensures every AJ Bell Great Run Series entrant has the opportunity to create a fundraising page, with the process directly linked to event registration; meaning people can start raising money immediately. More than 4 in 10 (44%) experienced fundraisers said this was key to maximising fundraising in our recent Mass Events report.
All fundraising pages are equipped with a Strava integration, the opportunity to live stream, share photos and videos, and the ability to personalise the fundraising story. This is provided free of any subscription charges to help charities raise more.
Charities can also access insights, analytics and live fundraising and donations data for their supporters to ensure their reporting is accurate and up to date. This would help causes be flexible and to change approach if needed. Additionally, in 2023, we announced integrations with Beacon, Donorfy and Salesforce, giving charities the ability to pull their fundraising data into their chosen CRM.
A joint commitment to innovate
We’ll continue to work with The Great Run Company to ensure that users have access to intuitive and innovative fundraising tech. The Great Run Series app will be a key focus for this, with supporters able to donate to participants with official fundraising pages on the day. This is done exclusively through Enthuse.
Enthuse remains the only digital fundraising provider with a platform built specifically for event organisers and as the official online fundraising partner for The Great Run Company, London Marathon Events, and Brighton Marathon Weekend, we are the home of mass events in the UK. A position which we continue to strengthen.
