enthuse named as the official fundraising partner for the etape loch ness

We’re delighted to be named as the Official Fundraising Partner of Etape Loch Ness. The partnership begins immediately in preparation for next year’s event on 25 April 2027, and the eight-year partnership runs until 2034.

The Etape Loch Ness is the UK’s largest and most iconic closed road cycle event, offering participants the chance to cycle 66 miles on traffic-free roads around the picturesque Loch Ness. This continues Enthuse’s momentum in the region, having announced similar partnerships with the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and Inverness Half Marathon earlier this year.

The Etape is the latest addition to the Enthuse partnership portfolio, with the platform already the official partner of 70% of the top 10 fundraising mass participation events in the UK. This includes the full suite of events organised by the UK’s two biggest mass participation event organisers: London Marathon Events and the Great Run Company, covering the TCS London Marathon, AJ Bell Great North Run, Brighton Marathon and GetPRO Bath Half.

The partnership means that charities and their participants can expect fundraising pages for Etape Loch Ness which are:

  • Co-branded to their cause and Etape Loch Ness
  • Fully integrated with event registration to ensure 100% fundraising page creation
  • Linked to the official event platform to show the collective event fundraising total

The integrated fundraising page creation is intended to make it easier for those involved to set up a page and start collecting donations right away.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Enthuse for Etape Loch Ness. Each year, our event portfolio generates more than £1 million for charities across Scotland and the UK, and this new partnership will make it easier for participants to fundraise, as well as boosting the charitable impact of the event.”

Malcolm Sutherland, CEO at Caledonian Concepts

“Etape Loch Ness lends itself perfectly to charity fundraising. The event is the UK’s largest closed-road sportive and the 2026 event saw 6,500 participants take on this scenic and truly unique cycling challenge. Having recently launched similar partnerships for the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and Inverness Half, there’s now some tremendous fundraising opportunities for charities in the region.”

“By bringing our charity-first approach to these events, we’re confident we can help even more good causes to build strong relationships with supporters that last well beyond the finish line.”

Eddie Allenby, General Manager at Enthuse

Enthuse is now the official fundraising platform of the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running, Inverness Half Marathon and Etape Loch Ness.

For charities who haven’t onboarded with Enthuse, they can do so via our mass participation page.
