It is critical that Enthuse information is captured in Salesforce. Without this we would not have visibility across our supporters and all the wonderful activities they are doing with us!

The story

About Children with Cancer UK

Around 4,200 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. Children with Cancer UK funds life-saving research into the causes of childhood cancer to develop better and kinder treatments.

To date the charity has funded over 300 projects which have accelerated research breakthroughs on the causes of cancer in children and young people as well as finding better treatments.

The charity was keen to manage its data more efficiently.

The need

Getting Enthuse data into Salesforce

Children with Cancer UK was initially introduced to Enthuse as a replacement for Virgin Money Giving after the latter closed its doors. As the charity became more familiar with Enthuse, it was impressed by the platform’s capabilities, leading to Enthuse quickly becoming the charity’s primary fundraising platform.

Enthuse is one of the many ways the charity interacts with its network of supporters and beneficiaries. In addition to fundraising, the organisation has researchers, grants, volunteers, an online store, and many other engagement pathways to manage.

To make sense of these different touch points, Children with Cancer UK collates its data in Salesforce which provides a single view across all its activities. That’s why it’s critical to ensure that information from Enthuse is captured in Salesforce.

Understandably, the charity wanted to ensure this process was as straightforward as possible and took out any manual data work for their team.

The more approach by Enthuse

The Enthuse and MoveData integration

To help automate the data transfer process and save staff members time, Children with Cancer UK opted to make use of the partnership between MoveData and Enthuse.

One of the key benefits the integration brings is that the sync happens in real time. This means the Enthuse donations, fundraising and event reg data in Salesforce is never out of date at any stage.

As such, dashboards, reporting, marketing automation and everything else are always accurate. Importantly, that means Children with Cancer UK can report on campaigns with confidence and use that insight to adapt and continuously improve their fundraising efforts.

Having access to up-to-date fundraising data in one place makes planning much easier.

Enthuse is now fully automated and syncs into Salesforce accurately and in real time. We would highly recommend MoveData to anyone looking to connect Enthuse and Salesforce.

The charity now saves approximately 100 working hours over the calendar year, meaning they can focus their attention on the high impact work that really makes a difference for their service users.

Staff can now focus their time on more valuable work.
